Artists are invited to submit original artwork for the “Spring: New Beginnings” exhibit to be held at the R Gallery in Boulder, Colorado. In this exhibit, we are seeking artwork in all styles and mediums that incorporates the theme of springtime -- new life, blooming, emerging, awakening, nature, spring colors saturating the world, a welcome rebirth from the slumber of winter, and other creative concepts for the season. The show will run March 3, 2021 through April 11, 2021.
Springtime in Colorado is known as mud season from the great melt of our snow-capped winters. A time of rebirth, when pale green buds emerge from the warming ground, trees begin to leaf, and vibrant colors glisten in the sun.

Artwork submitted for the “Spring: New Beginnings” exhibit should focus on the pieces that evoke the sense of spring season, a new start, growth. This can include the texture, emotions, colors, and concepts of springtime, a singular theme or combination of concepts that may consist of a literal representation or symbolic interpretation of the fundamental seasonal theme.
The deadline for submission is midnight on February 7, 2021.
