Creating art is a wonderful way for children to manage anxiety. Engaging in artistic activities allows kids to channel their emotions, providing a therapeutic outlet that promotes relaxation and mindfulness. As they paint, draw, or sculpt, they can focus on the process rather than their worries, helping to ease stress and foster a sense of calm.
Each week, we dive into the fundamentals of visual art—drawing, painting, sculpting, and color theory—while keeping things playful and engaging. The focus isn’t just on technique, but on helping each student discover and strengthen their own unique artistic voice. Whether your child is a budding illustrator or just loves to get messy with paint, there’s a place for them here.
In addition to the group classes, I also offer private lessons and portfolio reviews for students [all ages] seeking one-on-one guidance or preparing for auditions, applications, or art school.
