Lyons Creative Outlets Public Utility Box Painting

2026 Lyons Creative Outlets call for submissions. The call for artists to paint a public utility box on a busy corridor in Lyons, on McConnell Drive. The box serves as a gateway to the Lyons Valley Park and surrounding neighborhoods as well as the path to Lyons Middle Senior High School. The Lyons Arts & Humanities Commission (LAHC) continues the Creative Outlets program to enhance the community through art in public places. The program goal is to bring beauty to unexpected places through painting public utility boxes.
