               As part of the Boulder Library Foundation funded project, "Poetry is for Everyone," join Poet-in-Residence Jack Collom for events during the second part of his residency at the Main Library during the first four months of 2012. (He held a series of free intergenerational poetry writing workshops during October and November 2011 to kick things off.) Once a month from January through April, Jack Collom will welcome, listen to, and critique (in a mild manner) poems brought to him by patrons, write poems with, discuss literature and life with any one who comes.

            Jack Collom has 25 volumes of published poetry to his credit. He has been teaching at Naropa University for 25 years and has been doing workshops in schools all over the country for over three decades. He is well-know for his work in collecting poetry written by childen and offering workshops for their teachers. In recent years he has also worked extensively with seniors.
