Description
Presenter Kathy Kucsan of Integrity Arts will offer a frank discussion about the funding potential of your organization (or project). She will also give you the tools and tricks to present a strong grant application in the fastest, most practical way. Material from Part 1 will inform Part 2, so you are encouraged to attend both sessions (but you are welcome to attend just one). Registration/networking 12-12:30pm; Workshops 12:30 - 2pm
Part 1 (November 9) will be in a seminar format with discussion on how to:
- search for grants in a competitive funding landscape
- craft your "ask"
- streamline and improve your grants process
- answer any other questions you have
Part 2 (November 16) will be a “Grants Clinic.” Using a real-life model for grant review, we will evaluate three different grant applications with a mock grant panel. (This workshop includes pre-meeting homework of reading the mock grant applications before we meet. These will be emailed to you after you register.)
