Artist Frank Buffalo Hyde (Onondaga/Nez Perce) investigates the misleading stereotypes perpetuated by the disconnect between American commodity culture and the commodified cultures of American Indians through his Pop Art works in this provocative exhibition.
Frank Buffalo Hyde studied fine art at the Institute of American Indian Arts and the Santa Fe Art Institute. His art is included in many private and public collections around the country, including the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. Frank has also exhibited his art both nationally and internationally.
