Light refreshments served. Featuring short talks by CASE Fellows Darya Warner and Suzanne Anderson (HydroEcologies, Unseen of the Front Range Urban Corridor) and Amy Hoagland and Tania Schoennagel (Reflecting on Wildfire in the Colorado Front Range)

Eight teams of CU Boulder climate scientists and artists from across rural and urban Colorado collaborated to craft artwork that tells the story of how Coloradans are experiencing interrelated challenges of fire, drought, and water and air quality in their communities. Together, these Colorado Art Science Environment (CASE) Fellows created artwork featured in the exhibition Coloradans and Our Shared Environment in Times of Challenge and Change.

This program is lead by the CU Boulder Office for Outreach and Engagement in partnership with the Institute for Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR) and Boulder County Arts Alliance.

The program and exhibition, originally featured at the Colorado State Capitol, will be on view at the CU Boulder Campus at the Sustainability Energy and Environment Community (SEEC) building from Jan. 10 through Feb. 24, 2024. The collaboration works to build a basis for connection and relationship among scientists, artists, and communities to support Coloradans in collectively addressing pressing climate change issues.

The exhibition will tour statewide in 2024, including stops in Boulder, Breckenridge, Grand Junction and Durango.  Learn more at http://casefellows.buffscreate.net/
