The Boulder Bassoon Quartet presents a special "behind-the-scenes" look at how composers create their music. Bassoonist and local composer Thomas Kent Hurd will be joined by special guest Dr. Rica Narimoto, joining us from Japan! 

Dr. Narimoto is an award-winning Japanese composer; the piece she wrote for the Boulder Bassoon Quartet was recently specially selected for a festival at Juilliard. 

The Quartet will perform the composers' fun and innovative pieces, and reveal their inner workings, inspirations, and secrets!
