Cider Days, Lakewood’s favorite fall festival, returns

to Lakewood Heritage Center Oct. 3-4

Information at Lakewood.org/CiderDays

Lakewood’s favorite fall festival, Cider Days, returns for two full days of family fun.

With two days packed full of cider pressing, historic demonstrations, exhibitors, vendors, and entertainment, Cider Days offers fun for the whole family. With the partnership of Rocky Mountain Tractor Puller’s Association, Cider Days hosts Colorado’s largest antique and vintage tractor pull. Other entertainment includes a magic show, pie eating contests, trick pigs, live music and more. Additionally, Colorado Cider Company returns to sponsor an expanded hard cider tasting garden, where guests 21 years old and older can purchase tickets to taste some of the best hard cider Colorado has to offer.

The Lakewood Historical Society started Cider Days in the 1970s to celebrate the region’s agricultural heritage and honor the settlers of the land that would become Lakewood. Proceeds from Cider Days help support educational programs and outreach at Lakewood Heritage Center.

Sponsored by the Lakewood Heritage, Culture & the Arts Division, the SCFD – with appreciation to the citizens of the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District – Foothills Credit Union, St. Anthony Hospital, Tedford Katz, Muller Engineering, Cornerstone Home Lending, Westerra Credit Union, Macaroni Kid, Colorado Cider Association, Ela Family Farms, Village Roaster and Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School.

Cost
$7 for adults and $4 for children ages 3 to 12
