Stories to Tell--Barn Quilts of Boulder County is a public arts and heritage project that will culminate in a trail of 20 large scale colorfully painted installations of historically significant quilt block designs mounted to barn exteriors.

The creator of this endeavor, Dawn DeAno, will be available on June 29th at the Boulder Farmers Market to demonstrate the making of the barn quilt called ‘Flat Iron’. This installation is destined to reside at the 100 plus year old barn located at 6801 Baseline, owned by the Christian family.

The public, young and old, will be invited to participate in the painting of this barn quilt and learn more about this Boulder County public art and heritage project that is taking root.
