Members of Boulder County arts organizations participated in an antiracism study group in the Fall of 2020 together with CU Boulder faculty, staff and students. This initiative is an outcome of our shared work. We are continuing our antiracism commitments, through 2022 and beyond, to bring dialogue and action that addresses equity, inclusion, diversity and social justice to our communities. We believe in the arts as a powerful tool for addressing diversity, equity and inclusion in our communities. Read more about the initiative here.
Con·nect, a series of free and in person bi-monthly gatherings designed to amplify BIPOC artists and to strengthen relationships and partnerships among BIPOC artists and arts organizations in Boulder County. The series is co-organized by the Antiracism Action in the Arts Initiative, and also supports the parallel development of a BIPOC artist directory.
