Since 2017, Open Studios has created plein air art events and festivals in Boulder County. After a hiatus brought about by COVID, we are once again hosting plein air artists from across the country to come enjoy the beauty of Boulder County and create paintings capturing images of our local landscape and mountain vistas.
We are seeking up to 35 artists for the 2024 Boulder County Plein Air Festival, to be held June 1st-June 8th. The 2024 Festival is a plein air (outdoor) painting festival and competition for artists from across the country.
