Creative Freedom in Acrylic Painting with Lael Har
Let your creative spirit soar in this liberating painting class.
Group classes are individualized to fit the skill level and inspiration of each student. All abilities are welcome, from those with a new desire to paint, to those with more experience, searching to deepen their inner-personal style.
The initial introduction focuses on sharpening skills of seeing color, shape, composition, and use of materials. If you are a returning student you will develop skills with the option of combining drawing, mixed media, or abstract painting.
Through a combination of demonstrations and interactivity you will learn how to paint still life, landscapes, abstracts, and how to know when a painting is done.
Most importantly, you will learn to trust your own intuition and relax into the process of painting.
Be inspired to free your creative soul on canvas. The result is joy in painting!
AUGUST - Two Series:
Thursday Evening 6:00 - 8:30 pm | 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd
Friday Morning 10:00 - 12:30 pm | 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th

Suggested Materials:
Starter Kit- (you may purchase at first day of class, $30) includes:
- Acrylic paints 120ML: Hansa Yellow Medium, Phthalocyanine Blue, Quinacridone Red, White, Black.
- Gloss Gel Medium
- Disposable palette
Please also bring by the second class:
- Canvas pad and 4-6 economy grade canvases (any size 11x14 to 30x40)
- Brushes: 2-3 sizes
- 2 Pallet knifes

A prolific award-winning artist, Lael Har works in vivid acrylic paint. She brings awareness and joy into her creations. Her big brush approach is lively, juicy, and expressive. Teaching and sharing her artistic passion inspires Lael and her students to create and grow.
