Mesa Laboratory
Boulder, CO 80305
An exhibition of black and white photography by George Vago is on display in Gallery I of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) September 27 – October 23. The artist believes that in contrast to a world full of color, a black and white image has the magical ability to command attention and focus. It adds drama and power and invites the viewer to enter the image. Vago credits his bold and intense imagery as strongly influenced by his turbulent and dramatic early years as a native of Hungary.
NCAR's Mesa Laboratory is located at 1850 Table Mesa Drive in Boulder. The I.M. Pei designed building and its art galleries and science exhibits are open to the public weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and weekends/holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is no charge for admission. Please note the building will be closed for scheduled maintenance on Saturday, October, 9.
