Please join us for this unique opportunity to share our student work and research with the Boulder community. Thursday, October 6th, the Department of Art & Art History will host the Emerging Artist studio tour as part of Boulder Open Studios 2016 Studio Tour.
Over 52 doors of the Visual Arts Complex will be open to the public, and artists will be present to discuss their work. This year the Emerging Artist Studio tour will include:
-Graduate Studios
-Art History MA research presentations
-open BFA & undergraduate Studios
-Visiting Artist Print Exhibition
-Student work exhibitions
-undergraduate film screenings
-complimentary refreshments
The CU Art Museum will also be hosting their First Thursday event, which features a site-specific Tango performance, bilingual poetry reading, and tango-inspired music spun by Radio 1190 KVCU. Find out more about the CU Art Museum's First Thursday event:
