The Space

The beautiful Community House was built in 1918 to serve as the “living room” to the original tent residents of the Colorado Chautauqua. Today, it is host to intimate weddings, private parties, corporate meetings, retreats and events of all sizes throughout the year. Select from three venues within the Community House to suit your needs.

The Grand Assembly: Located on the main floor of the Community House, the Grand Assembly features hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, bay window, grand piano, wrap-around indoor balcony and a large covered porch.  The Grand Assembly can accommodate up to 80 guests, banquet style or 100 theater.

Rocky Mountain Climber’s Club: The historic Rocky Mountain Climbers’ Club room is perfect for a luncheon or midsize meeting. This room has gorgeous interior stone walls and the gas fireplace provides a lovely, warm ambiance. The Rocky Mountain Climbers’ Club can accommodate up to 40 guests, banquet style or 60 theater.

Meadows Room: The Meadows Room is a quiet space appropriate for smaller meetings. The gas fireplace and carpeting provide a cozy atmosphere. The Meadows Room can accommodate up to 30 guests, theater or 24 banquet style.

Catering
Catering services are provided by the Chautauqua Dining Hall and its catering company, Three Leaf Concepts. Whether it is a wedding reception, bar/bat mitzvah, corporate luncheon, intimate dinner party, or anything in between, catering services and menus are customized to meet the unique needs of each individual event. Menus feature fresh, local ingredients and artisanal cuisine.
