New Colorado undergraduate film contest!

Flatirons Food Film Festival, Oct. 11-14, 2018
Boulder, Colorado (Boulder Public Library and Muenzinger Auditorium, CU-Boulder campus)

Now open to submission of student contest entries for short narrative or documentary films that showcase a food-related topic or have food as a significant part of the narrative.

Short films (10 minutes or shorter): May 31, 2018 deadline
Award for the winning film: Festival screening, inclusion in festival publicity, and $75

The Flatirons Food Film Festival is an annual multi-day film festival intended to bring together those interested in eating, food culture, and food issues. It screens a mix of US and international feature and documentary films that address a wide range of food-related topics and issues. It also presents film-related culinary and social events like tastings and receptions, engages expert speakers for every film, presents panel discussions, and brings distinguished visiting speakers to enhance the educational and convivial aspects of the films.
