Description[Edit This]
2019 Art on the Street- Art on Loan Program.
"The Tilled Field is a sculpture fabricated in the suburbs of Bangkok Thailand. A three dimensional adaptation of an element found in a painting by Juan Miro titled, the "Tilled Field." When a farmer finishes the day and he looks back on the furrows he sees a field of undulating lines. This is also the inspiration which lead to Philo T. Farnsworth's invention of the television. Rendered in polished stainless steel it is a reflection of things past and things to come, a reflection of the human spirit! Also titled The Eternal Flame."
