The colorful acrylic enhancing the space inside the Civic Center was painted and donated by Armando Alvarez. As he researched Longmont, he discovered the original Chicago Colony - the square mile of plats that inspired this painting and subsequently the theme and design for Los Arcos de Longmont. 2001. At the Civic Center Complex.
