The title Starship Earth states the main idea that is portrayed in the mural. Symbolism reflecting the basic concepts of Biological science is primary. Additional symbols utilized in the mural also reflects the variety of organisms that exist in our environment, combined with the symbols of the elements necessary to sustain these life forms, air, water, earth and sun. 1983.
