A Year at Great Bark Dog Park

Description

The Lafayette Arts & Cultural Resources Department is hosting an open call for entry of artwork in all types of media. Entries must show a clear relation to Great Bark Dog Park, Burlington Trail, and the Dog Park Trail that goes through Rothman Open Space throughout the seasons with a focus on the ways we use and the reasons we enjoy these places. The artist’s focus may be on recreation, wildlife, landscape, nature, social, or cultural aspects of how we engage with these spaces.

  • This group exhibition will feature artwork by selected local artists of all ages and levels of ability.
  • Artists may submit up to two works for consideration by the jury.
  • Sculpture and wall-hung 3D media will be reviewed on a case by case, and space available basis.
  • Call opens Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026 and closes Thursday, Jan. 7, 2027

The exhibit will hang at The Collective Community Arts Center May 20-July 18, 2027.
