I am excited to be offering 2 mixed media painting workshops this Spring! No experience necessary, just a willingness to play, explore different materials, and to learn to trust your intuitive voice.
Our focus will be on cultivating our curiosity, while exploring new painting techniques, as that is the driver of creativity. As long as we stay curious we put off the inevitable judgement that keeps us limited. Curiosity is the foundation of learning and growth, and these workshops will help you fine tune your skills and curiosity to create more authentic and exciting paintings.
I will guide you through the many materials of self expression using water based paints (acrylic), collage, photography/photo transfer and various mark making tools. Each painting will be a unique expression of the artist/maker. I create a safe environment for each student to take exciting visual risks. All this will happen in our beautiful studio overlooking Eldorado Springs and the iconic mountains of Boulder, CO.
I believe we are all storytellers and have a unique visual story to express and share. I hope you will join us to discover yours!
