Session 1 Faded to Fabulous
Give your old jeans a makeover and add another notch to your sustainable fashion toolbelt. Your faded denim favorites will undergo a stunning revival in a cool water fiber- reactive dye. Because, let’s face it, even denim needs a spa day. Proceion dye resuscitates your wardrobe by adding drama to your well-loved essentials so they can keep you cozy and stylish for years to come. Say ta-ta to the mundane and bonjour to your personal color story. By the end of this class, you’ll be more than a mere dyer – you’ll be a curator of colorful creations, ready to make a statement with every stitch and hue.

Session 2 Wearable canvas

Carve stencils, tools you can use again and again to repeat precision designs. Banish stains for good with the magic of reverse stencils turning fashion mishaps into dramatic
embellishments that Mary Katrantzou would envy. Play with mix and match stenciling techniques to add texture and depth to your clothing. Or enjoy the freedom of freehand painting armed with tricks to keep your colors vibrant

Session 3 Block and roll – Lino printing

Picture a bespoke collection of garments you made, an expression or your unique allure, or at the very least, your knack for fancy embellishments. But the pièce de resistance? Your very own Lino print block, a tool with the power to glamorize fabrics, papers, and surfaces you didn’t even know you left stains on.

Session 4 Sizzle and style with heat press magic
Learn the art of revamping items with iron-on transfers. Say “Adieu” to logo-ridden relics and leave with a personalized gem. We’ve got a buffet of cool images for you, or if you’re feeling wild, zip over to the print shop and whip up your own on the provided paper. By the end of the session, not only will you have discovered the ins and outs of a heat press, but you’ll take home revamped shirts with brand-new images you chose and applied. That’s not all the heat press can do. It’s not just a one trick pony. It interfaces fabric in a flash for pieces in dire need of structure, and it’s fantablulous for setting fabrics paints to keep your colors vibrant enough to rival a sunset over the French Riviera. You’ll master the 15-minute clothes makeover with this, the easiest of all upcycling techniques.
Bring an image or two for the transfers on a thumb drive or in the cloud. Oh, and here’s a little insider tip: if you grace us with pre-printed images, you’ll skip to the front of the line at the heat press – fashionably early, of course! Just snag some paper from me ahead of time. Finally, bring a few garments with areas to cover smaller than 8 ½ x 11. And get ready to sizzle.
